Description James Revell 2015-03-10 03:00:14 UTC
Calc crashes while open but idle in background windows
Version: 4.4.0.3 (Build ID: de093506bcdc5fafd9023ee680b8c60e3e0645d7)

Situation: Running two calc sessions on separate spreadsheets while also running multiple gaming clients. The game clients consume the majority of available physical memory and at times cause a lot of swapping, but calc crashes somestimes occur even when significant memory is available.

Usually both calc sessions crash and completely recover since no activity has occurred in them for 5+ minutes, but today they crashed while active and one lost all updates from previous 5-12 minutes. Errors seen during recovered referred to ODS files not present since file was in .xlsx format. Physical memory usage was only about 80% at the time.

Hello,
I work with Calc daily but doesn't observe this behaviour- crashes. Are you able to provide repeat steps? Please upgrade to latest version 4.4.1.2, https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/
