The Find feature does not work.  Either on the toolbar or through the hot key.  The Find Text box - I cannot enter any search strings. Ctrl + F does not bring up any window.  The find and replace funtion works fine.

Hello Danno,

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you rename this LibreOffice user directory ( see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Default_location or http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/903/where-are-the-libreoffice-data-profile-files/ ) and re-test?


I can not confirm with  4.4.1.2 ID build: 45e2de17089c24a1fa810c8f975a7171ba4cd432, win7

Hi

Did as you asked and found the following with both directories.
The Find works fine when it is a stand-alone toolbar at the bottom of the spreadsheet - note it says Find in the search box.  See Does Work png image.  When you move the Find toolbar up to be part of another toolbar, it does not work - note it says Find Text in the search box.  See Does Not Work png image.

Looks like it was a toolbar configuration issue. Good job on finding the answer yourself!
