Hello,
your printscreen is very complex. Please attach printsreen from other commercial office programs and describe where is bug. Also please test with actual version of LO, http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/
Then set to unconfirmed.

I created 3 screenshots with office 2003 side-by-side (yep, that old, runs on wine).

It looks like reporter tried to design a website with Calc (why is beyond me).

It is a great showcase of overly designed document to test import/export filters against. It's main problem is Excel 2003 does not import merged cells (not in xlsx nor xls format saved from LibO 5.1.2.1, strange).

error log from office2010 when open file:
  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
- <recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main">
  <logFileName>error025200_01.xml</logFileName>
  <summary>Errors were detected in file 'test.xlsx'</summary>
- <removedRecords summary="Following is a list of removed records:">
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Named range from /xl/workbook.xml part (Workbook)</removedRecord>
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet4.xml part</removedRecord>
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet5.xml part</removedRecord>
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet6.xml part</removedRecord>
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet7.xml part</removedRecord>
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet8.xml part</removedRecord>
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet9.xml part</removedRecord>
  <removedRecord>Removed Records: Formula from /xl/worksheets/sheet10.xml part</removedRecord>
  </removedRecords>
  </recoveryLog>

compared few sheets in office2010 and LO Version: 5.2.0.0.alpha0+ - doesn't see difference.
mahfiaz, office 2003 or 2013?

raal, not a typo, Office 2003

Thanks for testing. Since you say it looks fine in Office 2013, it's best to close this bug.
