Select a text anywhere within the document
Ctrl K -> Document -> the selected text disappears from the box "Text"
Target -> Target in Document -> Choose a slide number -> Apply -> Close -> OK
The slide number replaces the previously selected text, instead of inserting the hyperlink "behind" the selected text like with an Internet hyperlink.
We have to insert the selected text again in the "text" box to avoid that behavior.
Selecting "Document" after "ctrl K" should not remove the selected text from the text box.
Reproduced with 4.4 Win/Linux.
Not reproduced with 4.2.

Well there is a (newer) duplicate. It is about Writer, but apparently the code is shared. I'll close this one.
