date format overridden by autocorrect

When entering a date in DD/MM/YY format, specifically 1st & 3rd April, autocorrect overrides the date format and inputs a fraction e.g. "¼/15" and "¾/15" instead of "1/4/15" & "3/4/15". There seems to be no way to change this behaviour without turning off these autocorrect options.

OK, it's easily fixed by typing 01/04/15 - please mark as trivial!
