Menu point that shows stranges behaviour

This bug is related to 32780.

When I want to change the language setting for the entire document from the bottom bar (see attached picture), the character box opens. I expect the language menu to open, from which I can choose the language to be applied to this document.

I am not sure if I understand your issue right.
But if you click on MORE then the FORMAT CHARACTER dialog opens with the tab FONT. Below the font type selection you have a drop-down field to select further languages.
Therefore, it is from my point of view no bug / inconsistency or is there a misunderstanding from my side?

It’s supposed to open that dialog, as it allows you to select another language. What is the point of this bug report?
Comment 3 Michael Rose 2015-04-03 09:34:32 UTC
Well, I expected to only change the language from this menu and not to change the format. But if you say this is intended, ok.
