In 4.4.1 on Win 7_64 Calc, after saving document and clicking X in upper right corner Windows shows a dialog "LibreOffice has stopped working" and offers to check online for a solution or close the program. Under "View problem details" it lists:

Do you reproduce this with a brand new doc where you just typed "test"?

Also, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows) and give it a new try?
Comment 2 john b 2015-04-06 21:25:40 UTC
I was able to reproduce the problem with a new test.ods spreadsheet.

I renamed my user folder and restarted LO. I made extensive edits to test.ods; crash did not happen. Will update after more testing.
Comment 3 Julien Nabet 2015-04-08 21:13:24 UTC
Thank you for your feedback, let's put this one to WFM.
Of course, don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you reproduce the crash.
Comment 4 Robert Negut 2015-05-31 00:52:05 UTC
Experiencing the same issue intermittently since upgrading to 4.4, crash on exit. In fact were new installs, on new OS installs, so no actual updating. No such issue up to 4.3.6, then installed 4.4.2 and it started happening, and now reinstalled again, been using 4.4.3 for the past couple of days and just happened again.
Comment 5 tommy27 2015-06-02 07:21:51 UTC
I set status to NEW according to previous comment

however I don't reproduce it under Win8.1 x64 using LibO 4.4.1.2

also let's all take a look to Bug 91770 - Crash on closing on Windows
Comment 6 Robert Negut 2015-06-04 12:25:46 UTC
Oddly enough, haven't been able to reproduce it again after that first time in 4.4.3 either. For the month or so I used 4.4.2, it happened at least every third time I closed a LO program (only used Writer and Calc), maybe more, on 4.4.3 there was that first time, with that soffice.bin/vcllo.dll error listed here, shortly after first installing it, but not since. Tried opening and closing options too.

No idea... Will report if it happens again.
Comment 7 john b 2015-06-04 17:25:17 UTC
I just upgraded to 4.4.3

after about 3 exits from LO it crashed. Sorry did not get the details. Will add next time it happens.

Looks similar to Bug 91214. Although this one is earlier, that one is better explained.

Comment 11 Robert Negut 2015-06-12 21:50:56 UTC
Yep, reproduced accidentally in Calc now and then managed to reproduce consistently in both Writer and Calc, with help from that other bug that was linked to, but more simply:
Open a file, copy something, close. Doesn't matter if you also paste or not, doesn't matter if it's still selected when you close or not, LO will crash on exit with that error already posted here by the others. Usually. Did 4 times out of 5 while trying now.
Comment 12 geeker 2015-06-19 19:28:38 UTC
I can reproduce with Version 4.4.3.2, build ID: 88805f81e9fe61362df02b9941de8e38a9b5fd16 on win_7x64. And with previos stable version 4.4.2 too.
And I just opened and closed .ODS.
Comment 13 Timur 2016-03-04 14:25:03 UTC
To those who reproduced this before: does this happen with the current versions?
Consistently or accidentally? With specific files or not related?
Comment 14 robert 2016-09-28 15:30:35 UTC
Same happening here, but not consistently.

Since there was no response to my previous question, I'll close this one.
Feel free to reopen with some more data specific to this bug.

robert@prino.org, yours may be a different one, please check Bug 100289.
As Tommy noted earlier, there's also Bug 91770 - Crash on closing on Windows
I added some backtrace ti Bug 98121.

Anyway, when a bug is not easily reproducible, there are still some ways to report, here is for Windows:
- included crash report available from LO 5.2 onward (not working for all bugs, unfortunately)
- keeping procdump on, to make .dmp that is later analyzed with WinDbg
path-to\procdump.exe soffice.bin -h path-to\soffice.bin.dmp
