FILEOPEN on some existing .ods files will either not open or TEXT INPUT is displayed. On other existing files they now open as READ ONLY or "format error discovered. Newly created ods files offer repair but open to a blank sheet - all data lost. Uninstall and reload of Libre Office has not cured these problems which seem to be corrupting unused for some time .ods files

Thanks for response Problem traced to faulty USB drive having strange effects on both CALC FILEOPEN, file saving and Ubuntu not showing connected drives and USB sticks!
Then, it's not Fixed, I'll mark as Invalid.
