Incidentally I discovered that Galician help translation contains a huge number of invalid XML tags. Help compiler ignores invalid XML snippets, and uses English. Check https://translations.documentfoundation.org/gl/libo_help/translate/#filter=checks&checks=validxml and https://translations.documentfoundation.org/gl/libo43_help/translate/#filter=checks&checks=validxml There are ~1400 errors in each. Probably a script or a wrong tool introduced them.

Valid XML check still gives 817 errors. https://translations.documentfoundation.org/gl/libo_help/translate/#filter=checks&checks=validxml
Just for information, there are now 2 errors left, I don't know how to fix them.
Sophie has fixed many build-breaking XML errors: https://translations.documentfoundation.org/changes/?project=&lang=gl&action=2&user=sophie
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/gl/libo_help/translate/#filter=checks&checks=validxml gives now a 404. I gave a try at https://translations.documentfoundation.org/languages/gl/libo_help-master/search/?page=1&limit=100&q=+has%3Acheck&sort_by=-priority%2Cposition and I fixed some of issues but it wasn't corrupted XML. Do you still see some of these for Galician part? If yes, could you provide a link to get the list?
The links were for Pootle. Now we use Weblate. I opened this bug 7 years ago. It is not surprising that this bug has been fixed since then. As comment #6 suggests, it was fixed by Sophie. Let's close this.
