Steps:
1) Open http://www.thefrugalcomputerguy.com/downloads/calc/ods34-PieCharts.ods
2) Notice that pie chart is thin.

Regression as it is thick in 4.0.6 and shows up thick in the start center thumbnail.

This was changed deliberately. Can't see why though because the reference is in the Novell bugtracker.

Weird that this change didnt translate to show the same way in the thumbnail.

Interesting...let me take a look...
Comment 4 Muthu Subramanian 2015-04-19 05:17:31 UTC
Looks like this is a cache problem...the thumbnail was stored by the older version. Just open it in the newer version of libo and save it - thumbnail should be fine.

Yes, the thickness was changed on purpose to make it look better.

Closing this for now...
Comment 6 Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired) 2015-04-19 12:43:15 UTC
Muthu: Any idea on how it was decided to go with that particular thickness, which is 40% of the previous size.
Comment 7 Muthu Subramanian 2015-04-19 12:53:31 UTC
As far as I remember:
a) Users requested for it
b) _other_ office suite provided that kind of a look and users were used to it.

But, that said, this was the first set towards making it configurable - maybe we should request for the configurable chart thickness - feature (?)
