Created attachment 114790 [details] Cannot see (on 4.4.2) previous (4.3.5) saved comments on calc After upgrading from 4.3.5 to 4.4.2, some files on .ods with comments are no longer visible. On those files i cannot add new comments or seeing commnents (it seems the font is too little or something). I supply a test file used/saved on 4.3.5 that cannot see the comments on 4.4.2.2. I also tested on 4.2.4 and its ok. All the tests were on Windows; dunno if it happens on other platforms.

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you rename this LibreOffice user directory ( see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Default_location or http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/903/where-are-the-libreoffice-data-profile-files/ ) and re-test?

I renamed the user diretory xxx\application data\4 to 4old. Restarted LO, it created again the "4" folder but the result was the same: no comments are visible. :-(
As working on solve https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90636 we came across that could be a "ms sans serif" font problem. In fact it was. when i, in LO options, make the font replacement of "ms sans serif" to "times new roman" it worked all right! is there a way to substitute it automatically in ALL pcs (we have around 180) or do i need to make the change in all one by one? thx
