Description mrcheek 2015-04-16 00:37:12 UTC
When the background colour of the entire spreadsheet is changed, the grid lines disappear.

Toggling grid lines does not restore them.

Currently using version 4.4.2.2

This doesn't happen in Open Office version 4.1.1

Ubuntu 14.10
LibreOffice 4.4.2.1

Confirmed all the way back to 3.3 (so this was inherited from OOo)

Marking as:
New (confirmed)
Minor (won't prevent high quality work, can slow you down a bit)

Updating version to reflect oldest version confirmed on.

In Writer we have Ctrl+Alt+Shft+V

(Not Ctrl+Shft+V as the table with shortcuts in the Help mentions - that has been changed half a decade ago to start Paste Special)

Suggest to use Ctrl+Alt+Shft+V in Calc too

In LibreOffice Calc, go to Tools > Options >Calc > View ..
You can set that grid lines are shown on colored cells
