On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today or with LO Debian package 4.3.3, I don't reproduce this.

On which env and which LO version do you use?
Comment 2 Paweł 2015-04-19 15:11:43 UTC
LO 4.0 - 4.4 on Windows XP, Windows 7
Comment 3 Julien Nabet 2015-04-19 15:22:58 UTC
Thank you for your feedback.

For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows) and give a new try?

When you tell "4.4", do you mean 4.4.2 or a previous version? (4.4.0 or 4.4.1)
Comment 4 Paweł 2015-04-19 16:52:51 UTC
This bug has about 10 years and is inherited from OpenOffice.
Attached screenshot file is from LO 4.4.2.2 on windows XP.
Comment 5 Julien Nabet 2015-04-19 17:02:34 UTC
I just noticed I hadn't clicked on OK.
I can reproduce this now.

But I don't know if it's a bug or if it's on purpose.

Since I don't have more questions, I put it back to UNCONFIRMED.
Comment 6 Matthew Francis 2015-04-28 05:28:38 UTC
Let's call this a bug (if not a bug, then an enhancement - this UI could certainly be improved by allowing the array option to be removed)

It has been this way since OOo 3.3.0

-> NEW
-> Version: Inherited from OOo

This is not a bug. When editing an existing formula the checked but disabled Array button is meant as an indicator that the formula IS an array/matrix formula. Unchecking would result in the formula not being applied as array formula anymore, which it was before editing.
Comment 11 Paweł 2015-10-28 15:35:59 UTC
What with Ctrl+Shift+Enter - (it inserts brackets on both side of formula) it works, but I can't remove brackets after click only Enter.
