Created attachment 115121 [details] Screenshot Version: LibreOffice: 4.4.2.2, Build ID: 40m0(Build:2), Dutch, - OS: Linux, Elemtary OS 0.3 Freya (32-bit) (Built on Ubuntu 14.04), Dutch Problem/Description: In LibreOffice Writer it is not possible to change the text color. When clicking on the "Font color" button the color palette does not show up. After pressing the "Font color" button, it keeps loading with no result. I cannot find a way to change text to a color of my choice. Reproduce steps: Open LibreOffice Writer (version 4.4.2.2); Enter some text; Highlight your entered text; Click on the "Font color" button; Actual result: After pressing the *Font color" button nothing happens. Expected result: After pressing the "Font color" button the color palette loads. A color can be selected and the selected color is taken into account. Additional info: Also tried these steps http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/questio... but with no result. Placed a screenshot in the attachment. Question: Can this bug be fixed please? Or does someone has a solution for this issue (or a workaround)?
Hello, see bug 90480 and bug 90155. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you rename this LibreOffice user directory ( see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Default_location or http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/903/where-are-the-libreoffice-data-profile-files/ ) and re-test?
Set to unconfirmed after test with clean new profile, thanks.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 90705 ***
Followed the advise of raal by resetting my profile. Issue did not resolve. The bugs mentioned in this PR are indeed the same. Unfortunately none of them has a solid solution (or fix). I also tried to reproduce this failure on Linux Mint 17.1 with the same version of LO. Here the failure did not occur. Note: Link all the duplicate tickets, make one ticket the one were all work regarding this issue are logged (if this is not done already). Test verdict: Fail
