I used to have the styles open, docked on the left, and the sidebar open on the right with formatting visible.

Now after upgrading to the latest version, the styles panel can only be viewed from the sidebar. How do I get my setup back the way it was?

I'm sorry, but this is by design. There is no way to get the old setup back.
