wow. this is completely bizarre. in my libreoffice calc window, i see C15 -> 3.00E-003 C16 -> 6348921 C17 -> 8.24E+010 but when i cut and paste those same cells into any text editor, i get: C15 -> 3.00E-003 C16 -> 82406348920.6894 C17 -> 8.24E+010 when i cut and paste those same cells anywhere in calc, i get the incorrect value. all other cells perform the calculation correctly. if you aren't seeing the same thing, it must be specific to my computer, but i have no idea what would cause that. thanks for your time. Probably duplicate of bug 78503. Please try disable Calc option "Use printer metrics for text formatting".

Please try disable Calc option "Use printer > metrics for text formatting". yep. it looks very similar to bug 78503. except, when i enable printer metrics, it clears up the problem. with printer metrics disabled, i get the problem. oh well. thank you again. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 78503 ***
