Created attachment 115308 [details] Writer file with the Arial font that does not look like arial After updating to the 4.4.2.2 release, if the Arial font is selected within LibreOffice, the font that appears in the documents is a font actually called AlienLeague, which looks very different from the actual Arial. LibreOffice displays 'Arial' in the font field though. In the rest of the system, Arial still appears normal. Compare this picture: http://up.picr.de/21716150bp.jpg I found out the font is actually AlienLeague by exporting a demo document to the pdf format, then looking up which font was actually embedded. I was also told to attach my "FontConfig custom configuration info (if any)" but I do not know what that means, you need to tell me the specific file I need to attach if that is really relevant.
Please, do not set your own bug to NEW. Each bug report must be confirmed independently. Set status back to UNCONFIRMED. No problem with your file for me under Ubuntu. Best regards. JBF

Cannot reproduce in Win7, LO 4.4.3 see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fontconfig There might be a problem with your font cache. Try running sudo fc-cache -f -v. This will rebuild the cache. Do you see Arial in another application correctly?
upgrade to 4.4.3.2 and answer to comment 3 set status to NEEDINFO
