WG42 Left, GS42 Right Screenshot

On Page 12 of GS42 guide (ODT format), in the section "Using LibreOffice on a Mac", in the "Mac equivalent" column, there appears to be a missing character for the Mac "Command" key. Note also that on page 12 of the WG42 guide (ODT format), in the section with the same name, and in the same location of the same table, the character for the Mac "Command" key is present. This appears to be a simple omission or substitution in the wrong font. Note I did not review any of the other guides yet to determine if this issue is systemic. Note also that in case it helps, I am running a base install of Xubuntu 14.04 and viewing the documents using LibreOffice Writer Version: 4.2.8.2 Build ID: 420m0(Build:2) as installed by the Ubuntu Software Center with no additional addons. I have also confirmed that the PDF distributions of these two guides contain this same issue. I have attached a screenshot from two side by side instances of Writer (WG42 Left, GS42 Right).

GS42 use the Liberation font; does this font being installed on your system?

Set status to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED or WORKSFORME once you have provided requested information.

Best regards. JBF

@JBF: The reporter’s screenshot clearly displays the Liberation font, but that is irrelevant since that font doesn’t contain the character “⌘” anyway.

@Peter Sanza: Please upgrade to a newer release of LibreOffice, such as 5.0.2. The 4.2.x series has long been unsupported by The Document Foundation.
