strange paragraph area behavior

I have the same ODT file, which contains paragraphs with a background color.
In LO Writer Version: 4.3.6.2 Build ID: d50a87b2e514536ed401c18000dad4660b6a169e it displays correctly, like I expect, but in LO Writer Version: 4.4.3.2 Build ID: 88805f81e9fe61362df02b9941de8e38a9b5fd16 the area with the background color is too high. It also colors the space above the paragraph, which should not be painted, but should stay white.
The problem is NOT with creating a PDF, but it appears when opening the ODT file.
In the attachment are the original ODT file I used for both versions, a PDF created with version 4.3.6.2, a PDF created with version 4.4.3.2, and a screen print of the paragraph settings.

Strange: same problem as in bug report 82661 which is fixed in 4.4.1.
I reproduce the problem with the attachment in LO 4.4.4.0.0+ and LO 5.0.0.0.alpha1+ both built at home under Ubuntu 15.04 x86-64, but not if I create a new paragraph style from scratch.

Setting as NEW.
@Miklos: this one may be interesting for you compared to bug 82661.

Best regards. JBF

Using Version: 5.0.0.0.alpha1
Build ID: 77a35997fa7cff387b5b135ff0c42155f80e9884
Locale : fr_CA
with Linux Ubuntu 14.01 I don't reproduce the strange behavior. Everything seems OK while opening an older odt file with a colored paragraph background or while creating a new style from scratch.

Can the GTK theme play a role in this behavior Jean-Baptiste?

Meilleures salutations,
Raymond

And with the text file in the attachment?

I do not know. I did a complete rebuild of LO 4.4.0.0+ without GTK3 support and I get the same behaviour.

Ahhh! It seems that the bug is only for black background (RGB=0.0.0). If you change the color to something else, if works as expected.

Will reopen bug 82661 for which the fix is not complete and mark this one as duplicate.

Best regards. JBF

I can confirm this behavior. I created an odt file with a style having a solid black background. The height is indeed not correct.

I renamed the file *.zip, open the archive and I edited the style.xml file to have a background #000001 instead of #000000. I renamed the edited archive *.odt. Now the background height returns to it's correct behavior.

Tested with LibreOffice Version: 5.0.0.0.beta1
