Description christian_kuhn 2015-05-18 12:34:12 UTC
Hello,

I have tried to copy a table from a LibreOffice Base with an internal HyperSQL database to a LibreOffice Base with the experimental internal Firebird database. I have got the message, that Firebird does not support long table names. I have not found any option in the menu to enable this.

Confirmed

Version: 4.2.4.2
Build ID: 63150712c6d317d27ce2db16eb94c2f3d7b699f8

OSX 10.10.3

The limit appears to be 31 characters, which is significantly shorter than hsqldb

Well, if Firebird doesn't support long table names, then there's nothing that can be done on the LibreOffice side. It is a Firebird limitation.
