suggested translation

The help of "Assigning Formats by Formula" (https://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Assigning_Formats_by_Formula/it),
in the Italian version (but I also believe that in English) contains imperfections, gaps, and a translation incomplete and not fully correct.
Here attached I propose my suggestion where I have highlighted in yellow the corrections.

Even the help of "Applying Conditional Formatting" (https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Find_and_Replace/it),
in the Italian version is titled “Cerca & sostituisci” but in the text and the menu is “Trova e sostituisci”.

These imperfections are due to "imperfect" synchronization between online help and web help.

All of these are to be checked, but most likely will disappear once all web pages will be synchronized again.

I do not close the issue, and will have a look once the new LibreOffice version will be issued.

I don't think it is a synchronization question, the "imperfections" are in the web version already.
At https://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Assigning_Formats_by_Formula/it:

Per applicare una formula a tutte le celle nell'area selezionata, potete utilizzare la finestra di dialogo Cerca e sostituisci.
>>> the popup says "Trova e sostituisci" and the English version too says "Find" (=trova)<<<
....

2.che si apre selezionando Modifica - Cerca e sostituisci.
>>> here something is missing; I suggested "2. Richiamate il menu di contesto selezionando Modifica - Trova e sostituisci." (English is "2.Select the menu command Edit - Find & Replace.)<<<
.....

5.Contrassegnate i campi Espressione regolare e Solo nella selezione. Fate clic su Cerca tutto.
>>> here it is missing, in English too, what to do before mark the fields; I suggested "5. Cliccate la casella Altre opzioni per estenderne la visualizzazione e contrassegnate i campi Espressione regolare e Solo nella selezione. Fate clic su Sostituisci tutto." (note that at end you have to click on "Sostituisci tutto" instead of "Cerca tutto")<<<

6.Fate clic su Sostituisci tutto.
>>> you should say (English too) "Fate clic su Chiudi." <<<

Vengono evidenziate tutte le celle con un contenuto che sono state selezionate.
>>> the sentence should follow item 6. (English too) and is a bad translation; English says "All cells with contents that were included in the selection are now highlighted." and I suggested "Tutte le celle precedentemente selezionate, con un contenuto, sono ora evidenziate."<<<

Hoping I have better clarified the question.

In the help for "Assigning Formats by Formula" (https://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Assigning_Formats_by_Formula/it), page last modified on 2015-09-28, I still read wrong instructions.
At items 5 and 6:
5. Contrassegnate i campi Espressione regolare e Solo nella selezione. Fate clic su Trova tutto.
Vengono evidenziate tutte le celle con un contenuto che sono state selezionate.
6. Fate clic su Sostituisci tutto.

Well,in item 5, if you don't say to firstly extend “+ Altre opzioni” you cannot see and select those fields.
Then, the sentence “vengono evidenziate ...” is a bad translation, difficult to understand. I again suggest “Tutte le celle precedentemente selezionate, con un contenuto, sono ora evidenziate.” that is the literal translation of “All cells with contents, that were included in the selection, are now highlighted”, perfectly understandable.

After item 6, you have to add:
7. Fate clic su Chiudi.

It depends from which way you look at the Italian sentence.

"vengono" (or "sono") evidenziate" needs a complement "le celle con un contenuto" ("con un contenuto" is attribute of "celle")

"that were included in the selection": "che sono state selezionate" or "che sono state incluse nella selezione" has the same meaning, the first is shorter and less elaborate.

For me, no doubt on the translation.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, we could propose it on Italian localization mailing list for opinions.

Hi Valter, I do not want to stir up a linguistic disquisition on the correct or best construction of a sentence, but I am on my opinion that moreover reflects exactly the English construct.
It is a matter of taste and ears (the subject before all)!

> we could propose it on Italian localization mailing list for opinions.
it could be interesting.
For simplicity:
a) "Vengono evidenziate tutte le celle con un contenuto che sono state selezionate."
b) "Tutte le celle precedentemente selezionate, con un contenuto, sono ora evidenziate.”
Which sounds better: a or b?

Marco, I like very much your suggestion, with a little change:

"Tutte le celle, con un contenuto, precedentemente selezionate sono ora evidenziate.”
