Description szl25497 2015-05-22 12:24:30 UTC
When you choose advanced installation you can check what software should open microsoft word, excel,... . I have chosen all 4. But after installation and also after a reboot, when i press on an odt, doc, ... file, it never open with libreoffice. I also cant open odt files with right click and open-with. There is no libreoffice listed there.
This is defenetly a critical error. Its like libreoffice were not installed propperly.

System: Win 7, 64bit, LibreOfficeDev_5.0.0.0.beta1_Win_x64.msi

LibreOffice is installed as LibreOfficeDev (because it is a beta), not LibreOffice.

I know that its been installed as libreofficedev. When i select at the installation, that it should also open microsoft office things and at the end it does not open anything, also not odt, then this is defenetly a bug. Does not matter if its called libreofficedev or libreoffice.

From what I see in its history, this bug report has never been confirmed independently. Set status back to unconfirmed.
From what I understand about parallel installation on MS-Windows, it is not a bug. Can some MS-Windows power-user confirm that?

Best regards. JBF

Have you seen this with later versions?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists with 5.2.x. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
