in LibO 5.0 beta 1: 
go to settings -> display
enable "use OpenGL for rendering" (click on check box)
press OK
re-open the same dialog: the check box "use OpenGL for rendering" is disabled

This is a regression as it works in LibO 4.4.3.2

tested on Mac OSX 10.10.3, MacBook Pro 15" Retina (early 2013) (Intel graphics 4000 and Nvidia GT 650M)
