please tell the LibO release you are using
Comment 2 tommy27 2015-05-30 05:02:23 UTC
take a look to bug 91718 which looks a similar issue.

what about testing with a different resolution setup of your monitor?
maybe the issue appears only with certain combinations.
Comment 3 Rob Muylaert 2015-06-01 20:58:18 UTC
use LO 4.4.3.2

tested several screen resolutions 1024x768 - 1920x1080 - 3200x1800'makes no difference

please tell the version of your graphic card

I have no issues with LibO 4.4.1.2 under Win8.1 x64
I have a laptop with 1366x768 screen resolution connected to an external monitor with 1050 x 1400 resolution (AMD Radeon R5 Graphics)

I set status to NEW since we have at least 2 users running Windows with the same issue.

My graphics card is Integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4400 and even when I reduce the resolution, I don't get the right display of the slide
Comment 15 Pierre C 2015-06-07 08:23:58 UTC
Having a look to related bugs, it seems clear that there is a problem with resolutions higher than 1920 x 1200
Comment 16 pkaplanphd 2015-06-07 11:00:15 UTC
I tried every resolution my card offers, none work. I think it is the graphics card
Comment 17 tommy27 2015-06-07 11:17:42 UTC
try disabling hardware acceleration under "Tools/Options/View/Graphics Output"

this workaround has been suggested to make it work in Bug 40534

tell if it fix things for you as well

I am using a yoga pro 2 and there is no way to slow the acceleration that Lenovo provides.

Working on a deadline for an exhibition is the cause of the delay of my answer.
I did try to disable the hardware acceleration. But I met some problems.
First my version is in Dutch, the suggestion is probably for Windows 7 or lower. I use Windows 8.1
The explanation even on Youtube is for older versions.
In the menu for the Intel HD Graphics 5300 there are no options which looks like hardware acceleration. I tried most options, no result. I looked at the site from Intel for this video card. The options they give are not applicable.
The problem is still present. I put some screen shots from the control panel en from the Intel site.

Thanks for the efforts. I would like to go back to using libre office if the bug can be worked around. Trying WPS for now.
Comment 23 tommy27 2015-07-28 14:19:43 UTC
@Rob @pkaplanphd
as said in comment 17 you have to turn off hardware acceleration from the LibO interface not from you graphic card control panel

anyway since the screenshot and the bug description are very evocative I label this as duplicate of Bug 40534
