Enter "isnotexact" and "isexact" in A1 and A2.
Enter "=MATCH("is",A1:A2,0)" in B1.

B1 displays "1" but should display "#N/A".

Scratch that.  The option to "Search criteria = and <> must apply to whole cells" is advertised as providing the needed behavior.
