try open this csv http://download.companieshouse.gov.uk/en_output.html it doesn't open it just hangs even the window doesn't appear it should maybe open only sample of this file and display open to load more

Confirmed with June 1st version. It is caused by the default import settings not matching the file format.

I tried with 64-bit master 6.4+. I downloaded full CSV which is unzipped 2 GB (!) I opened via File-Open, using default settings. Document load was slow, I'd say as expected. Message was: "The data could not be loaded completely because the maximum number of rows per sheet was exceeded." because it has more than a million rows. I'll close as WFM. Please test with new LO 64-bit version.
