Example document described above

Since upgrading to 4.4 I have been having many full crashes of Writer while copying and pasting documents created with my company's general template. This template was not previously problematic with 4.3 and earlier.

The crashes can happen when using CTRL-C or the copy command from the menu, and seem most likely if the highlighted section contains several different styles.

I've attached an example document which is essentially our blank template. If I highlight from '1.0 - Introduction' down to and including 'Text goes here' and hit CTRL-C, LibreOffice crashes for me every single time with an 'unexpected error' message box.

This is using LibreOffice 4.4.3.2 on Windows 7 64bit. Happy to provide further info if required.

Hello, Lee.

Thank you for taking the time to report this problem.

On windows Vista I do see the crash with LibreOffice 4.4.0.2, but
there is no crash in 4.4.4.1. So, I recommend that you upgrade to
LibreOffice 4.4.4, either release candidate 1 available now or release
candidate 2 scheduled for the week of June 15.

Meanwhile, I am setting this report RESOLVED WORKSFORME.

Terry.

Thanks for the investigation, Terry. I've installed 4.4.4.1 this morning and can confirm that the issue seems to be fixed for me too.

Cheers!

Lee, since we don't have a specific commit fixing this problem, WORKSFORME is the correct state. Thanks for the update (:
