Using a web based CMS database. CMS has a link to "Copy to Clipboard" a person's name and address. When attempting to paste into writer. A dialog appears: "requested clipboard format is not available". Workaround is to use File | Paste Special or [ctl]+[shift]+V. But that is unreliable. Sometimes "paste special" option is greyed out. I have been unable to determine circumstances when it is unavailable. Paste from this CMS to other applications (text editor, etc.) always works.
What is the CMS in question? Maybe you could try some clipboard manager to capture the data and attach it here, so we can see what type it is. For Windows there is this http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/inside_clipboard.html I don't know, if https://github.com/hluk/CopyQ or https://github.com/pvanek/qlipper would provide the same functionality for Linux. Also, trying with LibreOffice 4.4.x would be good just to make sure the problem occurs in the latest version. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided more information.
