Created attachment 116469 [details] backtrace 1. New Spreadsheet. 2. Type “test” in cell A1. 3. File → New → Text Document. 4. Go back to spreadsheet and copy cell A1. 5. Go to text document and paste. 6. Close text document (I did not save). 7. Close application (I did not save). Result: Crash Windows Vista 64 Version: 4.4.3.2 Build ID: 88805f81e9fe61362df02b9941de8e38a9b5fd16 I could not reproduce in master. Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 5fc0cbbc1254223fedf0f78c5e7539219b228697 TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2015-06-11_04:30:51 I could not find anything to say there was a fix so I do not know if it has made its way back into 4.4.4 or 4.4.5.
For me not reproducible with LO 4.4.3.2, Win 8.1
Some additional info. It is not the cell contents that are to be copied but the cell. When it is pasted in Writer you want to end up with an object not text.
Didn't crash. Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 4.4.3.2 Build ID: 88805f81e9fe61362df02b9941de8e38a9b5fd16 Locale: fi_FI
I tried again today and it didn't work so I thought maybe I got the version wrong. I repeated the test and it crashed (LibreOffice has stopped working). Just highlighting some empty cells in Calc and using that also works. I did not escape after copying the cell and I did not escape or click somewhere else after the paste. While typing this I had copied some cells in Calc and closed the application and it crashed so I guess the Writer part does not matter.
