When you have a spreadsheet with filtered data in multiple columns and you try to copy and paste data from non-consecutive columns, Calc pastes in all the data -- even the non-visible / filtered data.
Created attachment 116596 [details] spreadsheet to demonstrate problem
Steps to reproduce: 1 - Open the attached spreadsheet bug92125-Test_Case.xlsx 2 - Filter column A so that only rows with Good are showing 3 - Highlight columns A & C (excluding B) using ctrl-click on the column headers 4 - Copy 5 - Open new worksheet (or workbook for that matter) 6 - Paste 7 - notice that the BAD rows that were filtered out / invisible on the original sheet have magically appeared on the new sheet
Note that in the example if you include column B (Junk), then Calc will correctly only copy/paste the visible (selected for) rows.
Reproduced. Lowered severity as workaround exists https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/images/0/06/Prioritizing_Bugs_Flowchart.jpg Win 7 Pro 64-bit Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 80ec99db4325a439a8a3f1d420d0a80f8bf9c439 TinderBox: Win-x86@62-merge-TDF, Branch:MASTER, Time: 2015-06-16_00:00:20 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI)

There is an extension to do it. https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/copy-only-visible-cells But doesn't work with paste special transpose.
