Created attachment 116672 [details] An .xlsx file that causes trouble. LibreOffice-from-Collabora (Version: 4.3-6 Build ID: 5a33bf649b3311effbcfba86607a06c8c57514da) crashes when I try to open an .xlsx file (attached) that was created using LibreOffice Version: 4.3.7.2 Build ID: 8a35821d8636a03b8bf4e15b48f59794652c68ba. This only happens on my new 13" Macbook Pro Retina. There is no problem opening such files when I use my iMac or when I use LibreOffice Vanilla (Version: 4.4.4.2 Build ID: 323549d66ffd3888c6a5058f7f6c9f0a279e0d3f) on either machine.
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I don't reproduce the crash. Could you give a try to a more recent LO version like 4.4.3? (since 4.3 branch is EOL) Also, for the test could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Mac_OS_X)? Finally, if you still reproduce this, please attach the crash file by using this link: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=92201&action=enter (putting normal priority since it's not yet confirmed)
As I said in my report, the bug was only found in LibreOffice-from-Collabora. As I already said, the latest version, Vanilla 4.4.4.2, doesn’t have the problem. The only reason this concerns me is that I PAID for LibreOffice-from-collabora on the iTunes Store because it claimed to be industry strength. (Vanilla was free.) Surely a paid-for app should have some better support than to tell me to use something else! The bug seems very specific to the MacBook Pro Retina. I tried to delete my user profile but it wasn't where the web page said it would be. There was no profile for v3 to move. I moved 4 instead, but nothing changed. 192-168-1-114:Application Support barry$ ls AddressBook MobileSync Aperture Preview App Store Quick Look Apple Sibelius Software BBEdit SyncServices CallHistoryDB Texpad CallHistoryTransactions Texpad-Local-Cloud-Replicas CloudDocs WiFiExplorer CrashReporter com.apple.TCC Dock com.apple.sbd Kobo com.apple.spotlight LibreOffice iCloud LiveBundles iStumbler 192-168-1-114:Application Support barry$ cd LibreOffice/ 192-168-1-114:LibreOffice barry$ ls 4
Hmmm, you actually paid $9.99 for what is a free package ?! Dunno what the licence has to say about this. But, if your package fails, you should complain to apple who sold it to you, or with collabora, who build the package. So I think it's 'not our bug'.
Barry: you're right, I had read you description a little too quickly. Andras: Collabora LO, therefore one for you.
