Description bin88 2015-06-28 15:22:42 UTC
Automatic date and time conversion often leads to turning data to garbage.
For example, when you have file with time in both hh:mm and hh.mm (unfortunately both is valid according to ČSN 01 6910) and you try to replace '.' with ':' time is changed to date 12/30/1899 08:00:00 (and only 12/30/1899 shown) which is undesired. When you use undo to get this change back, cell content is changed to 01/07/1900 (i'm very curious why?).

This (and several other automatic changes) is causing big pain when you have to work with file containing data in more that one (date/time) format and almost useless when you work with data which seems to be date or time, but they are not. (f.e: 1.12 as a room number, 2/15 as a catalog number is changed to 2/15/2015).

There should be option (when opening a file or creating new?) to disable all automatic conversions.
