Created attachment 117090 [details]
Very simple Calc doc with short 2 line subroutine that illustrates the error. Cell in A3 of non-active sheet is destroyed when sub executes.

When inserting a row by script using oSheet.Rows.insertbyindex(x,x) after previously assigning oSheet via getActiveSheet results in destruction of formula on non-active sheet.

Not sure of LO version but this was installed with Mint 17.1 distro.
Comment 2 John Swander 2015-07-06 21:47:10 UTC
I should have said the formula in A3 (non-active sheet) of example attachment is "Modified" incorrectly resulting in Err 522.

I ran the included insert macro in both sheets, but the formula stayed fine.

I think your version might be 4.2.x, which is EOL. You can see it in Help - About.

You can install 4.4 by using a PPA provided by the Ubuntu team:
sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:libreoffice/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

I'll set to NEEDINFO, while we wait for your further testing results.

Tested with:
