I downloaded 5 files from easie [Ensuring Advancement in Sandwich Construction through Innovation and Exploitation ]

http://www.easie.eu/page1.php?id_chapitre=127

Files : Deliverable D2.5.2 to Deliverable D2.5.5

Opening the file take 4 to 5 mins. Then crashes.

In MS office, within 10sec, it is opening.

Thanks for the report.
I tried Deliverable D2.5.2
http://www.easie.eu/fichiers/deliverable_2.5.2_software_module_-_strength_capacities_without_dt_k_method_v2_100211.xls
in 4.4.3.2 and 5.0.0.2
Both takes about 90 seconds and do not crash.

32 bits Ubuntu here.
So sorry, can't confirm the issue.

Opening the same file as Cor.

It has a lot of images an OLE objects.

About 65 seconds for opening.
Win7x64

Crash while opening with:

Seeems it finish to load but not calc window, and selecting again open files in the start center, hangs with a black open window.
