hi,

Tried also :

https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Certificate_Detection

and did not helped,...

So adding :

 export NSS_USE_SHARED_DB=enabled
 export MOZILLA_CERTIFICATE_FOLDER=sql:$HOME/.pki/nssdb

and restarting machine did not solved.

AT ANY CASE, LIBRE OFFICE SHOULD IT SELF START READING
SMART CARD WHITOUT FIRST READING BY MOZILLA.

ANYWAY IF YOU COULD GET IT READING AT LEAST WHIT MOZILLA
IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!!!

Does it occur with 4.4, too?
You can get it from a PPA maintained by the Ubuntu team:

sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:libreoffice/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
