Ok I test with http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/win/x86/LibreOffice_5.0.0.4_Win_x86.msi
same bug
Test on writer and calc Export to archive PDF/A

>no problem with LibO 5.0.0.4 RC x64 under Win8.1 x64
Please note I said
on XP SP3 processeur AMD Athlon XP1800 SSE
So x86 (32 bits) and SEE processor
may be a problem of the SSE processor (see solved bug 82430)
Comment 3 tommy27 2015-07-26 11:59:33 UTC
sure I noticed that. the bug is probably specific to XP.

@JCE
I wasn't asking to you; I was asking to Pedro who I put in CC list.
he's an XP user too.

anyway it's not clear what you exactly meant with your latest comment..
do you mean you tried on a different XP computer with SP2 and there you don't see the bug you initially reported with XP SP3?

There is no crash under Windows XP x86 with 5.0.0.4
My PC has an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (which supports SSE2)

Maybe it is a problem of the specific file that is being exported? Maybe the OP can attach a sample file that causes the problem?

I think: may be a problem of the SSE processor ;)

No specific file
I just enter one or two line in writer or calc
and Export to archive PDF/A
I have an error message "SEH Exception:ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION"

Please try to get a backtrace: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/How_to_get_a_backtrace_with_WinDbg
After attaching to soffice.bin, you might need to do Debug - Event filters and enable Illegal instruction.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have tried to get a bt.

Hmm, I'm not sure, if those backtraces succeeded, but I'll set to unconfirmed.

For crashers it's always best to start with a fresh profile -

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile

Please reset your profile and test again. Thanks!

How about trying 5.1.1 after it is released this week? Let us know how it goes.
