Tested with LO 5.0 RC4
Was reading Thorsten blog yesterday when I tried to open his presentation.
http://users.freedesktop.org/~thorsten/talks/fosdem_2015.odp

Presentation open without problems, but when I hit F5 (full screen slide show) everything breaks (attached screenshot).

Maybe it's because of HIDPI (3200x1800) resolution on Windows 8.1 which they downgrade to 1600x900 for some apps.

Just tested with LO 3.3.2 portable and it's an regression.
Lo 3.3.2 show presentation properly in full screen.

Mikeyy, can you try disabling hardware acceleration (tools->options->view)? Does that change anything for the output?

Yes, after disabling it, slide shows normaly.

This makes it a likely duplicate to bug 40534 then.
