Description Regina Henschel 2015-08-03 20:50:40 UTC
Open the build-in help on tab "Index".
Enter characters in the search item field, for example one after the other the characters s h o r

Expected behavior: The list scrolls down to "s", then to "sh", then to "sho" ...
Noticed behavior: The list stays at top item, eg. "3D Charts" for module Writer.

The behavior was OK in LibreOffice 4.2

Because of this buggy behavior it is no longer possible to quickly access an item with character input and arrow-up and arrow-down key. That is a regression with loss of functionality.

For me not reproducible with LO 5.1.0.1, Win 8.1.

Does this issue still persist for you with the latest release version of LO?

It is fixed in 5.1 and in 5.2 as well.
