CSV text file plus resulting Calc ods file

I tried to import a rather long CSV text file in Calc. The import process took very long, and when it was finished Calc reported that not all data could be loaded because there were too many characters for a cell.

That is complete nonsense, as you can see the columns in the text file are not very wide at all.

I modified the text file, removing leading spaces in front of the semi-columns, but to no avail.

I have attached the version of the CSV file without spaces, and the resulting ods file. The latter is very small!

Hi @Dirk, thanks for reporting.

But not a bug, the file has fields with not paired quotation marks in some fields.

Like in line 152737
00002;01;111414;Remtoebehoren;96028;"ABS WARTEL 3/8"" UNF (G)";00000000375

In the import window delete the quotation mark as text delimiter.

In this way works fine for me.

Closed as not a bug, please if you are not agree, reopen it.
