Description Samuel Mehrbrodt (allotropia) 2015-08-11 08:10:00 UTC
To reproduce:
* Create a chart
* Choose "Export as image" from the context menu
* give any filename, but no extension

Result: Nothing happens (no image created, no error message).

Can't confirm with Linux, kde4 and gen plugins.

In kde4 filepicker, "automatically select filename extension" (or sth along that line) checkbox is preselected, so it's kinda hard not to select any extension, the user has to actively uncheck that box.

In generic filepicker, this automatic extension thing is not preselected, but still, in both cases I can export a chart to a file without extension & the file is of a type selected by me in 'file type' listbox (confirmed by 'file' command in Linux)

Samuel: what's your environment ? Could it be that this is gtk[3] specific? Window-specific?

No repro on 5.0 (sorry, don't have 4.4 installed currently and can't waste bandwidth right now).

Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 5.0.0.5 (32-bit)

I tried with the gtk 2 backend. Enter a filename without extension "test" and don't select any extension from the dropdown.
