Description Jonás Perusquía 2015-08-24 06:48:33 UTC
Today I failed with a homework because a big PDF converted document that I tried to open along with my not saved homework and LibreOffice was so slow that I force closed it.

After double clicking LibreOffice icon, the Recover wizard appeared but I didn't want to recover both, just my Homework, however the option was not available.

So I clicked on Recover and the process lasted so long for the big document that I didn't want to recover.

The time passed and I couldn't send my homework because LibreOffice was still processing the other file.

Looks like correct enhancement ..

Yes we should implement checkboxes next to each entry in the recover so that the user can decide to not recover a document that likely caused the crash to happen, else LO will repeatedly crash after each recover.

Please add keyword 'needsUXEval' and CC 'libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org' if input from UX is needed.

I believe this has been implemented, but it isn't easy to verify this...

Using GDB I can fairly easily get the recovery screen to appear - much easier than when just running LO. And at least in that recovery mode it is selectable.
