Description Vinicius 2015-08-31 02:52:01 UTC
I tried to create a "Page Break" before the Summary... Being the Summary on the first page of my document, but I couldn't. Then, I deleted the Summary and put it again but now in the second page and I created a page break between the first page and the second page.

All this because I forgot the Cover.

But block a page break before the summary, when it is in the first page, seems wrong to me.

Very old known problem with an easy workaround.

Not sure what exactly the problem is. I opened a random odt file and added a page break before the first text without problem.

--> click directly before the first text and do insert --> manual break --> page break

LO 5.0.0.5 in Ubuntu 15.04

The important word in the bug report summary is _summary_

Insert a summary at the top of the first page and then try to insert something before it.

Where do I find "insert summary"? Or do you mean "table of content"?

Yes, here summary means table of content.

Then let us treat it accordingly. I have added it in the summary and added the meta bugs. And I have added later reports about the same topic.

The table of contents (TOC) is a write protected section. So you first need to set the TOC to editable. The go to its start and press Alt+Enter. That inserts a new line before but still in the section. Go to it. Again press Alt+Enter. Now you have line before the section. Delete the additional line inside the section and set the TOC back to not editable.

So it is possible, but of cause that is not a user friendly solution.
