Hello,
for the test, could you rename your LibreOffice directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and give it a new try?

Hi,
I have also noticed multiple crashes on 5.0.1.2. I'm not 100% sure if related, but for me it always seems to coincide with a save, or an autosave.

perhaps you could observe your next crash and see if it has just attempted to autosave.

Hi David,
my autosave is set after 15 mins. Instead it crashes immediately

Also experiencing crippling crashes, after upgrading on Arch from 5.0.0.5 to 0.5.1.2. Had to downgrade versions.

Most easily repeatable for me by deleting multiple selected rows. Deleting single selected row doesn't seem to cause a problem.
Comment 12 jamespharvey20 2015-09-13 01:55:08 UTC
^^ that should read 5.0.1.2 where it says 0.5.1.2

I downloaded the new version 5.0.2.2.
There was no problem installing it.
I have a spreadsheet with 11,000+ rows.
I opened it to do some editing and additions, that all seemed to work fine.
After working on it and adding data, the program crashed and closed.
It was after about 10 minutes of work.
When I re-opened the program, the file was just what I started with.
I had lost everything I had added.
Went through the same procedure four times, then stopped.
There didn't seem to be any common procedure that caused the crashes.
The next morning I opened the program, again no problem.
Tried to start working with the same file and this crash was different.
The outline of the Calc window was there, but no data in the window.
Could not get it to do anything, so used Task Manager to stop program.
When I tried to open the same file, it came up fine.
But lost the little I had entered.
Deleted 5.0.2.2 completely.
Went back to 4.4.5.2.

confirmed crashes. I also use 64 bit arch linux. affects all version 5. I had to downgrade to 4.4.5ver. not only this happen in spreadsheet, but also in writer when you select, un-select and re-select texts for editing or copying or etc. especially when you installed stardict for scan a word you don't know.

Please provide a clearer set of step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the bug.
Comment 16 Buovjaga 2015-10-11 17:47:14 UTC
Probably the same root problem as bug 94936.

Are there crashes, if you run it with the command:
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk soffice

Arch Linux should not have enabled GTK3 as it is experimental.

Marking as NEEDINFO - please try what Beluga suggested and report back. If that fixes it, please mark as a duplicate of that other bug. Thanks!

running it form the command fixed the bug.

but why does it not work when I edit this in /etc/profile.d/libreoffice-fresh.sh, uncomment the export line and source it. should I reboot and then it works?
