Hi As part of the evolution of the interface I suggest "File> Preview in Web Browser" to be moved to sub-menu "File> Send> Preview in Web Browser"" Why: - Consistent with the other items in this menu (sending in another application / module) - Removing a separator (shortest File menu) Regards Pierre-Yves

Hi (In reply to Yousuf (Jay) Philips from comment #1) > Yes this is correct for the Send sub-menu, though i would make an exception > to retain it in the main menu for Writer Web. I do not like this kind of exception in the menus that do not make them consistent... I guess you have usability data that I do not have but I think this command is rarely used, even in Writer? Regards Pierre-Yves
Hey, (In reply to pierre-yves samyn from comment #2) > Hi > > I do not like this kind of exception in the menus that do not make them > consistent... Its unfortunate but each application is unique and we have to promote what part are most important to those apps. At least this time, the entry is still in the same menu. :D > I guess you have usability data that I do not have but I think this command > is rarely used, even in Writer? For users who use Writer and Writer Web as an html editor, it is an important command, which is why in Writer Web, i have added it into the standard toolbar.
@Jay may we close this one?
Hi (In reply to Yousuf Philips (jay) from comment #3) > For users who use Writer and Writer Web as an html editor, it is an > important command, which is why in Writer Web, i have added it into the > standard toolbar. Would it not be possible to keep the entry in the File menu only for html documents? Otherwise, I agree to close this report and I thank all those involved in the improvement of LibreOffice. Best regards Pierre-Yves
