I have macros that operate fine but are considerably slower on V5 than V4.
They basically configure paragraph, char and page styles as well as search through a document formatting it.
If you require the macros let me know.
Also is it possible when running a macro to turn off display update ie reformatting of the document until after the macro has run.

@Simon : yes, please provide us with a document containing the macros where you noticed the slowdown. Bear in mind that any document you attach to this report is public.
