Created attachment 118662 [details] error at electrica I was writing word electrica in Romanian, but in Calc it is shown as electrică, no matter how times i correct it. Also, working in another Calc file, instead of 8 I was shown "8'". I had to copy and paste froma different cell the right 8, as deleting and retyping were given the same strange number 8' (as one character, not a composed 8 + '). thanx

From https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=ee002215ce6379ffcba990035eeb71854441f265 , I noticed these autocorrect entries in extras/source/autocorr/lang/ro/DocumentList.xml: electrica->electrică Electrica->Electrică
BogdanB: since you're Romanian, thought you might have some opinion here.
Yes, I tested now. Comment 7 is right. In Romanian "electrica" doesn't mean something, but it is a national energy company with that name. In fact the most used word is "electrică", except the case from above. So, for this cases is better to be changed to "electrică". The single way to write ELECTRICA is to Check "NONE - Don not check spelling" from the bottom. About the "8" number I supose this have to do with setting the cell to be text. And since is text LO is adding that symbol.
Another solution for the user is to change the cell to "text", so, in this case the text remains "electrica" as it is writen.
I checked now, the word "electrica" (excepting the name of the electric company "Electrica") doesn't appear in any romanian dictionary. There are two forms: electric and electrică, but not "electrica". So, in my opinion LibreOffice is right to correct this, and the user has 2 options: Uncheck autocorrect OR set the cell to text, and the text stay as it is written.
Thanks a lot and sorry that I tripped on this in 2015. closing.
