I can not open file in LO 5.0.1.2, win7. Error message: input/output error.
Please attach file before it was saved in LO, we need to reproduce problem. Thank you.

It is very strange. I have Kubuntu 14.04 and I open file from first message without any errors in LO 5.0.1.2.

You need to use the MSO converter [1] and open in LibO 4.4.5.2 and late or open MSO 2010 and late.

>Thank you.
Thank you a lot too. It seems we have one more bug :)

Retested and now I can open the file without error...

I can not confirm with 5.0.1.2
ID build: 81898c9f5c0d43f3473ba111d7b351050be20261, win7
After resave in LO I can see references in LO and excel2010.
Please retest with version 5.0.1.2, https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/
