Which LO version do you use? On which env are you? (Windows, MacOs, Linux) Do you reproduce this in a brand new file?
Maybe the dot '.' it's not your decimal separator. There is an option in: Menu/Tools/Options/Language settings/Languages - Local settings - Decimal separator key.
