When: When you have a chart that is set to display values that are in hidden columns or rows using the "[ ] Include values from hidden cells stops" option. What happens: Making changes to the data-range causes calc to forget the option has been set to include values from hidden cells. What is expected: The altered data range values should all be included on the chart, calc should check the "[ ] Include values from hidden cells stops" option. Notes: This happened after the data had been drag-drop moved and the rows hidden again. Not all of the values are hidden - more than half are. Steps to reproduce bug: • have include cells option ticked • unhide rows • move data with drag-drop • re-hide rows • add more data • change data range to include new data
Could not reproduce. For reproducers: https://help.libreoffice.org/Chart/Options#Include_values_from_hidden_cells Which LibreOffice version are you using? Which operating system? If not LibO 5.0, try with it. Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 5.0.1.2 (32-bit) Build ID: 81898c9f5c0d43f3473ba111d7b351050be20261 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI) Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
Still happening regularly, Calc fails to take note of the "Include values from hidden cells" option. Happens after unhiding rows, drag-drop moving data, moving chart, re-hiding rows, changing data range by changing the last value in the data-range text-box. It is at this last point that the chart goes wrong, extending the data range by increasing the row value by a few rows - it doesn't check the option, I have to go back to the option, uncheck it, close chart dialogue box and then go back again and re-check it.
Which LibreOffice version and operating system?
Win7 64bit LibreOffice 5.0.0.5 - bugged. I've downloaded and installed 5.0.2 now, I'll test it again fully in about a weeks time.
