Screen Shot

I am getting black boxes over text that I can't make go away. I have attached a screen shot. This happens in Calc as well. Seems to happen when I scroll or switch applications and then when I come back to Libre I have the problem.

Thanks
David

which Windows version do you have? Win10 maybe?

Yep, windows 10. Is that the problem?

Please open Tools->Options...->LibreOffice->View, and uncheck "Use OpenGL". Does it help?

not sure but I've seen many strange bugs reported against Win10...
looks like a very buggy O/S... I don't see that problemn under Win7 and Win8.1

Another screen shot

Changing opengl didn't work. The only way I have found to clean things up is to close Libre and reopen. I haven't figured out what triggers the problem, but when it happens, Libre is unusable.

I attached another screen shot.

Thanks
DAvid

@David Raab
is this bug still present using latest LibO 5.1.6.2 or 5.2.3.3 release?

did you try resetting the user profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) ?

do you have Windows update activated? are you running a Win10 with latest patches and fixes from MS?

please give feedback. status NEEDINFO until then.
